Before you go, we take down your information and note everything we looked at and talked about. That way, we have everything noted in case you wanted to reference something we talked about or looked at. We will schedule a day and time to come to your home and get all the exact measurements.

We’ll let you borrow the samples you selected to see how they look in your home, in your room, in your lighting, and with your furniture. Get the opinion of friends and family if you’d like. MEASURE DAY

Our estimator will arrive within an hour window of your scheduled time. We will draw up a diagram of the room and everything you would like done. The estimator will jot down all of these notes and take pictures of the job site. We’ll collect the samples we sent home with you and return everything to your flooring consultant. We will work on the layout of your job, calculate the quantity needed, and the labor to install everything. Then we will be able to give you quotes on the products you selected. You can usually expect a call or email with your quotes within two days after your measure. We do our best to get this quote to you quickly.

MAKE YOUR FINAL FLOORING SELECTION

If you are still undecided on which flooring you want, we can talk and answer any questions or concerns you might have. We can even order some sample swatches that will be sent to you if you would like. Whatever we can do to help you finalize your selection and love your flooring choice. Once you fall in love, we will verify the proposal to ensure it is accurate. We will have you sign off on the proposal and then collect your payment or deposit so we can get the ball rolling on ordering. It usually takes less than a day before our Chief Operations Officer, Jake Bouquet, makes sure the quantity and layout are both correct and places the order.

SCHEDULE INSTALL

Jake sends all the receiving information over so that you can be contacted to schedule the delivery and installation of your flooring. If you are ordering from our carpet store in Mokena, you will be speaking with the Director of Operations, Chris Boerema. If you happen to be ordering from our Highland store, Operations Manager, Mark Costigan, will be giving you a call. You will also receive another call, text, or email a couple of days before the planned installation to remind you of your installation date and time.

INSTALLATION DAY

Our installation crew will arrive within a two-hour window of your scheduled appointment. The installers will get the area ready to install your flooring, like moving furniture and taking up your old flooring, if these options were selected when you signed your proposal. When the installation is complete, the installation crew will clean the job site to ensure it is free from scraps and fragments.

After the installation is complete, we will give you a call within a couple of days to make sure everything was completed to your satisfaction. If any outstanding balance is owed, we will run the credit card on file at that time.
