Q: What do you like best about the company culture?
A: Everyone knows what they need to do to make the job easier for everyone else.
Q: What is a fact about you that few people are aware of?
A: I was the starting varsity pitcher on my high school softball team and was offered a full scholarship to college to play.
Q: Which company benefits are your favorite, and why?
A: One of my favorite benefits of working at Creative Carpet & Flooring is the opportunity to work with my best friend, Dana Krizmanic. In fact, it was Dana who inspired me to join Creative Carpet. I have been following her for 15 years (which probably makes me a stalker!)
Q: Where is your hometown?
A: Valparaiso, Indiana
Q: What do you love the most about your line of work?
A: What I love most about my line of work is meeting new people, seeing different design styles, and admiring architecture!
Q: What issue will you always speak your mind about?
A: I will always voice my opinion about the outrageous cost of healthcare in this country. Why do I have to pay a certain amount of dollars each month, only to still have to pay a deductible, copays, and medications? Furthermore, why is my dog's allergy medication more expensive than mine?

A: Karndean's Art Select in Melbourne.

My house was built in 1927, so it's a 1 & half story farmhouse and very compartmentalized- but I have Art Select LM05 Melbourne with the 3mm design strips in my kitchen and first-floor bathroom because it's super durable and versatile to coordinate with my honey oak cabinets and grey walls. Also, the slate look is timeless, and since my kitchen only has one east-facing window, I embraced that the room will always be dark. I went with something low maintenance and easy to clean versus something lighter to brighten the space and have to sweep the floor every day. I will add Art Select Classic Hickory to the rest of my main and probably the upper levels. This is when I can convince my husband, Jon, to redo our floors with me. I mainly want that because it's timeless and will pair with anything. Plus, the 30mil wear layer that the Art Select series comes with makes it super durable for pet owners and people with kids.
