Q: How would you sum up your work?

A: You might call my work routine, but I prefer to think of it as a dance, a rhythmic ballet of numbers that somehow makes sense. There's something oddly satisfying about it — a kind of musicality that only those who immerse themselves in the world of accounting can truly appreciate.

Q: If you inherited or won a million dollars, what’s the very first thing you would do with the money?

A: Now, let's dream big. If a million dollars fell into my lap, the first stop would be the bank — a savvy move for the future. Retirement may seem far away, but a wise accountant always plans ahead.

Q: How have you grown professionally while working with us?

A: As I twirl through the world of numbers, I've found growth in unexpected places. My Excel skills have hit new heights, and I've dived into the analytical deep end. It's like discovering a hidden passage in a labyrinth—unexpected but thrilling.

Q: What is your favorite destination, and why?

A: It's not a far-off exotic locale — it's my patio. Peace, tranquility and a view that makes every day feel like a mini vacation. And it always includes my companion and partner in crime, Hannah, because life is always better with a furry friend by your side. She's my rescue dog, but I'm not sure who rescued who.

Q: Is there anything you have noticed about our leadership team that stands out to you?

A: Our leadership team? They're not just faces in high places. They're real, down-to-earth souls with a mission—to guide us in doing the right thing, both in business and for our beloved customers. And let me tell you, it's inspiring.

Q: Where is your hometown?

A: While I currently reside in Orland Park, my roots trace back to the vibrant city of Chicago.

Q:  What is your favorite flooring?

Karndean's Art Select in Glacier Oak (RL21)

A: Oh, I love Karndean's Art Select in Glacier Oak RL21! It's got this fancy vibe that makes my current flooring jealous. It's like having the classy charm of traditional French Oak but with this cool arctic gray twist. It just clicks with any interior style, adding that posh touch to my home sweet home.

Q:  What flooring do you currently have in your home?

Waterproof rigid core luxury vinyl

A: Waterproof rigid core luxury vinyl flooring from an undisclosed online store. While I'm currently content with my flooring choice, I must admit, I took quite a gamble ordering online. Reflecting on my flooring journey, if I had possessed the knowledge I do now before joining the Creative Carpet & Flooring team, I wouldn't have dared to purchase my flooring from an online marketplace based in Canada. One significant drawback I've since realized is the absence of installation support services in online stores, leaving you to tackle the assembly on your own. Moreover, the virtual nature of the product brings a whole new level of uncertainty – what you see on the screen might not match the reality of the delivered product. Returning items is a maze of hidden costs, thanks to those sneaky shipping charges. Another eye-opener was discovering that online flooring store prices are non-negotiable, and you're stuck with the universal discounts they offer. In contrast, local flooring stores provide the flexibility to negotiate prices, adding that personal touch that online shopping lacks. Lesson learned – for a stress-free experience, going local is the way to go.
