Our 5th Annual Dress Your Pet Contest has officially come to a close, and what a competition it was! From hilarious personalities to show-stopping costumes, each pet brought something unique to the contest. A huge thank you to everyone who participated, voted, and made this such a fun event!

first place

🥇 First Place: Lara as Baby Yoda

Gina Mercer of Highland, IN – 447 votes

The Force was strong with this one! Lara, a 4-year-old Black Lab mix, rocked her Baby Yoda costume for Halloween, and the votes proved just how much everyone loved it. Lara’s owner, Gina, says she loves dressing up, so it’s no surprise she was a natural at stealing the spotlight!

As the grand prize winner, Gina has won a FREE Carpet Cleaning (up to three rooms, 600 sq. ft. total)—the perfect way to keep the floors fresh after all those adorable costume changes!

2nd place

🥈 Second Place: Rocky’s Cold-Weather Protest

Andra Heneghan of Munster, IN – 423 votes

Rocky, a 54-pound rescue, is full of personality, but when it’s cold outside? No thanks! His "you must be kidding" look perfectly sums up how he feels about bad weather. When he’s not making people laugh with his stubborn streak, he’s sneaking granola bars and dodging foot-wiping duty. A true character!

 

3rd place

🥉 Third Place: Briar as the King of Pop

Doris Catizzone of Orland Park, IL – 123 votes

Sassy, affectionate, and always dressed to impress, Briar took center stage as the King of Pop! Whether he’s stealing socks, watching dog shows, or enforcing pool safety, Briar knows how to make a statement. His love for hoodies and attention to detail made him a standout in this year’s contest!
