We had a water issue, backed up sewer in our basement less than a week before Christmas this December. I called Steve with Creative Carpet to ask if they had availability to look at our issue. Steve came out the same day, looked at our dilemma, and assessed the situation. He asked if he could discuss the details directly by speaking to our insurance company. Our insurance told us we would most likely need to wait until after the holiday to have an adjuster come look at the basement. Steve took matters into his own hands, and with his experience with insurance companies, he was able to convince them to work with us and his company to allow us to not only settle the claim with our insurance but Creative Carpet was able to make time on their schedule to fit in the removal and installation of our new carpet two days before Christmas Eve! They were prompt, professional, and extremely detailed on the project from start to finish! We were lucky to call them first... and from now on, they will be the only flooring company we will ever call! Thank you, Steve and the Creative Carpet team!

We headed to the showroom and were greeted by Steve Williams, who was pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. We were given plenty of time to look at the tons of samples on our own while Steve would check in to answer questions and guide our shopping experience. I have never had carpet installed before, and so during the experience, I was a little anxious. What color should we get? What brand should we buy? How messy would it be? How expensive? When we decided on Creative Carpet to help us pick carpet for our foyer grand staircase, almost immediately, my anxiety was put to rest. Our sales rep, Brian, was awesome. He gave us all the time we needed to choose a color, and also (which is almost unheard of in most places) gave us giant samples right off the floor to take home (which really helped--better than tiny swatches.) After making our choice, everything went smoothly. The installers were friendly and did a great job of cleaning up afterward. And when all was said and done, I was almost speechless at how beautifully the color of our new carpet changed the foyer. I can't stop looking at the staircase. Thank you, Creative Carpet, Brian, and Randy, who did their best to ensure we were happy—a very satisfied customer.

I am writing this long overdue review of my experience with Steve at Creative Carpet. My mother and I have had him on two different occasions for flooring. Both times were great! Steve helped us through the complete process from start to finish. He was wonderful in helping us select our carpet and staying within our budget. Steve is also very knowledgeable with the insurance companies as our basement carpet was replaced because of a water heater breaking. A year later, he helped us replace the carpeting in our living room and bedrooms. Steve was so patient with us as our scheduling was complicated with many family health issues. We went to Creative Carpet & Flooring in Highland, Indiana, to see what they had and talk to someone about a particular 10' x 18' carpeting order. We hoped to get the carpet by Thanksgiving, but I wasn't too sure about that!!! Boy, did Steve Williams come through for us!!! We found a beautiful carpet that needed to be "bound." Steve said he would see what he could do to deliver it by Thanksgiving. Steve called five days before Turkey Day and said our carpet was in and ready for delivery!!! We set the date and the time, and the two young men did not disappoint!! Both young men were punctual and very friendly.... they carefully brought the carpet into our living room. I have to tell you what a great experience I have had. I thought I would give you a try in one room, knowing that I would be back to get the entire house done if all went well. My first experience was great, so this year, I called Steve and said I'm back and ordered for the rest of the house. Three bedrooms and an office, we did hardwood and carpeting. The problem is I only had a two-day window to get it done.
Steve and Randy worked with me to make it happen. I have a 94-year-old dementia patient and only had a short time to get it done since she was being cared for elsewhere for a specific week. When we decided to redo our kitchen, one of my biggest concerns was our flooring. We have two big dogs and wanted something very durable. I stopped at a few different flooring stores but felt the most comfortable at Creative. Steve was very helpful, informative, and patient with my questions and concerns. I love the look of hardwood floors but was concerned about scratching with our dogs. I also like tile, but it can be cold and hard. Steve introduced me to the Karndean Luxury Vinyl Planking, and I was sold. We ended up choosing the glue-down floor. The folks at Creative seemed very patient with us when we had to push back our installation a couple of times. When the time came for installation, their guys were great! Edgar & Team were very polite, and we were pleasantly surprised when they were in and out in two days. We are very happy with our flooring, and so far, the family and friends who have seen it like it too!

We have been using Creative Carpet for about ten years. At that time, we lived in Illinois. I had been looking for a carpeting place and could not find one I liked. When I walked into the Mokena store, I immediately felt at home and picked out carpeting for the whole house. They did such a good job that when I needed to carpet an apartment we had, I, of course, called Creative Carpet. We moved to Indiana 5 months ago and were so happy when I learned they had a store in Highland, Indiana. I chose carpet for the living room. When the installation was complete, I noticed the carpeting on one side of the room was a darker shade. I called and spoke to Autumn Sibo, who had been helping me in the store. She came to the house in a couple of days and agreed it looked darker on one side of the seam than the other. She contacted Mark Jr., and he contacted the carpet manufacturer. Since we had taken photos, they agreed it did not match and said they would replace the carpet free of charge. The new carpet has been installed and looks great. I am going to put carpeting in the 4-season room, and of course, it will be done by Creative Carpet. Also, all the installers that have come to our house have been very friendly and professional.
